Artist Statement:
With Hina Strüver and Matthias Wüthrich, two other Swiss artists, it is human action on nature that is under scrutiny. With “Regrowing Eden” (2007-2008), available on multiple platforms (blog, YouTube, Second Life, etc.), they imagine a falsely futuristic garden, whose parameters depend entirely on the user’s behavior. They extend the experience with performances where a metaphorical jungle is drawn using yellow stripes. Their minimalist performances sometimes leave the viewer wanting more, but the challenge lies elsewhere, in the appropriation and delimitation of space. – https://poptronics.fr/Isea-2008-les-arts-electroniques-a
