The work is consisted of three pieces of “This is A Camera”, “This is A Monitor”, and “To See The Frame”. This is the first of the trilogy of video semiology which analyzes in detail the dialectic of words and images in video (The other two pieces are “Observer/ Observed”, 1975 and” Observer/ Observed/ Observed”, 1976). The work articulates camera, monitor, and frame respectively, which are the basic component of video. Awarded at Thomas Edison Film/Video Festival, USA, and New York Short Film Festival, USA etc.
