HUANG Jieyuan (1992, CN) is an interdisciplinary visual artist, artistic project-based researcher working Linz Austria and the online space. In recent works he develops images, videos, installations, new media projects and research programs in the fields of image in the technical and machinery state and mixed media space. HUANG Jieyuan’s work uses the image as a thread to reflect on issues such as the ethics of machine technology in digital conditions, the subjectivity of artificial intelligence, robotics and digital humanism. He holds an MFA in Art in Context from the University of the Arts Berlin. He is the PhD candidate at University of Art and Design Linz, and established the artistic research project BOTI. He is a visiting scholar at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) in 2024-2025. In addition, he also explores the field of digital art under the virtual identity of easyJet©Wong.
