Junha Kim is a filmmaker and 3D artist based in Seoul. He earned his BAS in Art & Technology from Sogang University in 2020 and an MFA in Art & Technology from the California Institute of the Arts in 2022. Junha’s work focuses on creating experimental digital images that challenge viewers’ expectations, blurring the boundaries between mediums and genres. Thematically, his practice explores the intersections between the real and the imagined, and the human and the non-human, offering a unique perspective on the role of digital media in contemporary art. His original digital works have been showcased at prestigious venues such as Animafest Zagreb, the Student Academy Awards, Ars Electronica, the Japan Media Arts Festival, and SIGGRAPH Asia.

Junha Kim is a 3D artist/filmmaker based in Los Angeles and Seoul. In 2012, he graduated with a BAS in Art & Technology from Sogang University in Seoul. After completing his MFA in Art & Technology from the California Institute of the Arts in 2022, he is pursuing his artistic career in L.A. His original computer graphic works have been shown at Japan’s Media Arts Festival and SIGGRAPH ASIA.
