Kelly Devrome has been a full-time lecturer in the Visual Arts Program at Zayed University in the United Arab Emirates since 2020. Her research interests include modernist abstraction, cultural identity, perspectival space, and veiled semantics in painting and drawing. Devrome’s artwork investigates dream-like qualities and a oneiric field applied to the two-dimensional plane. Her paintings have been exhibited in Kuwait City and Australia’s Geelong Art Gallery. Her works are also part of Victorian collections in Australia.
