Abstract:

  • The objective of this paper is to investigate the premise that documentary has always made use of new technologies, specially those that allowed greater access to reality. Generally speaking, we can observe every thirty years a technological turning point. These changes bring new forms of access to reality. Therefore, the paper argues that animated documentary, which is a 1990’s and 2000’s tendency, helps to assert the documentary as a field of experimentation.
