• The “creative economy” is an evolving concept, capturing the effects of intellectual capital as it interfaces with the arts, culture, business and technology. The speakers on this featured panel explore the topic through diverse perspectives. OurGoods.org co-founder Caroline Woolard talks about the problems and possibilities of non-monetary exchange while Denis Roio, a.k.a. Jaromil, a software developer, artist and activist illustrates the technical and political aspects connected to Bitcoin, an experimental digital currency that uses peer-to-peer technology to bypass central authority.
