Overview:
Soissons is rich in two museums – the Museum of Art and History, within the former abbey of Saint-Léger, the Arsenal-museum of contemporary art, within the former abbey of Saint-Jean-des-Vignes – and a Conservation Centre and Archaeological Studies, located on the edge of the Arsenal. Spread to the north and south of the city centre, these three places with very different architecture preserve and highlight the formidable heritage and artistic heritage of the city of the Vase.
