    Festival Orleans, June 19 – 30

For this new edition of the Human Tech Days event, hybrid artistic practices and digital cultures will be highlighted and modulated during a week with a rich programme of concerts, performances, installations, conferences and workshops for a wide audience. During this week, each day will be themed: sobriety and the environment, the place of women and cyber-feminism, digital freedoms and sonic freedoms, technical and technological (re)appropriations, digital arts and cultures to better discover, apprehend and practice digital creativity in all its forms. This week will also be an opportunity to discover and promote projects that are developed in our region during the year in a network of places federated around common desires and values. Federated networks and technological frugality in an ecological perspective, themes that will also be explored during this week, ferments of a year 2023 and symbiotic futures with ramifications that are being woven with other structures and events on a national and international scale.

EXHIBITION FROM JUNE 19 TO 30: A CABINET OF DIGITAL CURIOSITIES
Ancestor of our current museums, which have gradually specialized, the cabinet of curiosities is distinguished by its eclecticism: bringing together natural, scientific, technical and artistic objects, it nourishes the links between these various fields of knowledge and their imaginations. Heterogeneous and abundant, this principle of exhibition, historically dedicated to facilitating an educational and scientific understanding of the world, here takes the form of a cabinet of digital curiosities which, with an approach that is alternately humorous, critical, offbeat, rooted in the current or future-oriented, combines in a playful and fertile dialogue the work of amateurs, do-it-yourselfers, students and established artists through projects developed at the local, regional and international level.

This cabinet of curiosities, by its heterogeneous side, allows to explore the “digital” under multiple facets by an approach sometimes humorous, offbeat, anchored in the news or on the contrary turned towards the future. This principle of open exhibition also makes it possible to associate students from the ESAD of Orléans, regional artists, to also present projects that have been developed in other places in the Center region. Previous iterations of digital curio cabinets (new window)

With the participation of: Labomedia (Orléans), Printlab de la Fun (Tours), Quentin Destieux (Cahors), Xavier Girard (Orléans), Florent Deloison (Paris / Orléans), Lucas Pipard (Orléans), Oriane Dalles (Orléans) ), WU Zhenyu (Orléans), RYBN – Telecommuters project (Europe)

Closing on Thursday June 29 with a performance by Julie Verrin (Chinon) and Morgan Bodart (Orléans)
