Artist Statement:

Featuring an antique stove, a computer and giant projection, Small Appliances examines the historical place of women in the home and our relationship to technology.

The exhibition also includes plans for future houses and urban dwellings from a number of leading architects as part of Concept House 98 and a short introduction that looks at how the future of the home has been imagined in the past.
