    Claudette Lemay, member of Perte de Signal, received a BFA in literature and film with a certificate in journalism from Universite Laval de Quebec. In 2000, Lemay also obtained a BFA at Universite du Quebec B Montreal. In her installational works and single channel videos, transformed images of the body and the presence of voice help create an intimate and poetic universe. Her videos have appeared in International Media Art Festival Offline@online, (Pärnu, Estonia), Impakt (Utrecht, NL), Instants video (Manosque, France), and the Festival international des premieres oeuvres de Ste-Therese, where she was awarded the prize for best video. Her video installations have been exhibited in Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick and Mexico. She lives and works in Montreal, Canada.
