Gilles Braunis representative for the Technology Department of the French Ministries of Education and Research. He is in charge of installing a national association in La Belle de Mai (Marseille) to help start up companies in the educational multimedia sector; initiating funds for multimedia (INRIA, ENS Cachan, the Deposit and Consignment Office); and the procedures for supporting research and development in the sector of knowledge technologies (RNTL, RNMA).
