Ian Andrews is a Sydney based independent film, video and sound artist.who has been practicing since 1981. He studied electronics in order to achieve the knowledge and skills to build his own electronic instruments and video equipment, and studied film and sound at the University of Technology, Sydney. He has written several essays on sound which have been published in periodicals such as NMA and Essays in Sound.
