    Joanne Lalonde is a professor at the Department of Art History at UQAM. She leads the Archiver le Présent team and co-directs the NT2 UQAM laboratory. Her research focuses on media and digital art practices. She is also interested in gender representations and gender-based figures in contemporary art, the modalities of interactivity in contemporary art, and the methodologies of research on emerging artistic practices. She has published two essays on hypermedia culture, The Performative of the Web (White Room 2010), L’Abécédaire du Web (PUQ 2012) and designed the online exhibition Re|Search in collaboration with the team at UQAM’s NT2 Laboratory.
