    Nina Pope and Karen Guthrie (UK) met while studying at Edinburgh College of Art and have collaborated as artists and film-makers since 1995.     Karen Guthrie and Nina Pope met whilst at Edinburgh College of Art before they completed MA’s in London and began working together in 1995. Their early career was marked by technological innovation combined with a socially-engaged and inclusive sensibility – for example, their live online travelogue A Hypertext Journal (1996) which was an experimental precursor to ‘blogging’ (source: somewhere.org.uk/about/biography)
