Merve Kurt has done her undergraduate studies in Philosophy at Bogaziçi University, Turkey. She has earned the first year of her M.A. in Philosophy of Art and Aesthetics at Universtiy of Paris IV Sorbonne, France. Her M.A. thesis at EHESS (École des hautes études en sciences sociales) concerns the notion of virtual reality in art.
