Mike King received a B.Sc. in physics and chemistry, an M.Sc. in software engineering and a Ph.D. in computer graphics. He is currently reader in the Department of Art, Design, Silversmithing and Jewelry, London Guildhall University, UK. He has taught for ten years in computer art and animation.

Mike King (UK), born 1953. Studied at the Oxford Polytechnic, BSc Honours in Physics and Chemistry. Masters Degree in Software Engineering from Oxford University. Master’s dissertation: “Fom1al Methods in Computer Graphics for Film and TY”. Studied for PhD at the Royal College of Art, London. Subject of research: user interface to computer graphics in the visual arts. Won 2 prizes for entries in competitions organised by the Computer Arts Society. Took up a research fellowship at the John Cass Faculty of Arts in the City of London Polytechnic. Exhibited in london, Bristol & Exeter computer art exhibitions at Imperial.
