    Olivier Coupille was born in 1952 and lives and works in Paris. In 1979-80, he participated in the workshops and performances of Takehisa Kosugi. From 1982 to 1984, he studied the shakuhachi with Reihi Sano in Tokyo. His sound installations have been exhibited in galleries, parks and museums in Paris and Holland.
