Simo Alitalo is a sound artist and theorist whose interests are in environmental sounds produced by both the ecosphere and mediasphere. He is a radio producer and artist with FBC’s Radioateljee unit. He works as a media art curator at the Turku-based Media Gallery and teaches at the Turku School of Art and Communication, the University of Turku, and the University of Lapland.
