Thomas Gerwin (*8.2.1955) is a classically educated composer and musicologist. To improve his artistic expression, he worked together with theater, film, dance and painting and came into the field of electroacoustic music very early. Later he intensively worked with soundscape composition. Today he mainly creates sound and video installations and composes radiophonic and acousmatic works. He is director of inter art project – studio for media art. His works are released worldwide on 14 CDs and won some international prizes.
