    Van McElwee has been producing and exhibiting experimental video since 1976 and been the recipient of numerous grants in Britain. His videotapes have been screened widely in the United States, as well as in Europe, and are distributed worldwide by The Kitchen in New York, Heure Exquise! in France, and London Electronic Arts in Britain.
