  Yin Yu（于音）is a multi-disciplinary artist, engineer, and designer. She has a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering (China), a Master of Science in Information Technology (USA), and a Master of Science in Interior Architecture (USA). Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. in Media Arts and Technologies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, USA. She is interested in expanding the potential of interactive multimedia environments and the relationships between architecture and music in contemporary art and design practice. Her goal is to investigate the interactions between human beings and the built space by redesigning the environment through new media technologies. Applications include architecture, wearable design, and social interaction.

  Yin Yu is a PhD student in Media Arts and Technology at UCSB, USA. Her work explores the potential of multimedia interactive environments and the relationship between architecture and music by means of emerging technologies. She has a BS in EE, and two master’s degrees in Information Technology and Interior Architecture.
