Abstract:
Drawn from their experience in recent years in installations and performance, Das Synthetische Mischgewebe presents a conference/ performance on the subject of collaboration between artists, scientists and technicians. The conference/performance is based on sound, text, and still and moving pictures from our own Fragmented source material from various sources is mixed together resulting in an overall coherent character that enhances and transmits our personal experience of multimedia. In addition, two artists/performers will lead the conference in unsynchronized French and English, a manner of presentation that goes far beyond simple translation.
