In front of No.20 warehouse, the venue of exhibitions, MEDIASELECT with local citizens and the parties of Nagoya port welcomed and associated with international and domestic artists participating in ISEA2002. The vice president of Nagoya Port Authority, Mr.Someya gave a greeting speech and treat all of us Japanese sake called “Nagoyakou (Nagoya port)”. Representing the local community, Nishi Tsukiji District Council, Mr. Oono also gave a greeting speech. We deepened our friendship and enjoyed hand made sweets by our project staff, snacks prepared by local citizens and dance by the local women’s society. Children from Kobato Nursery School lived up the party as a lovely marching band and performers of Eye Catch Communication which was planned by an artist.
