Abstract:
A collection of publications and electronic products will be available to participants and the public. The New Media Market will allow the user to acquire an overview of avant-garde art and electronic publications; it is the prototype of a new market for art and culture. These publications will be displayed using a number of viewing stations specially designed by students of the School of Industrial design of the Universite de Montreal. In addition, the contemporary art bookstore Olivieri, situated nearby, will present a selection of publications for sale during the Symposium.
