Artist Statement:

The Voice of Control is an exploration of identity commodification and media saturation in the age of the internet. It builds a critique of media culture through references to well-known trademarks and advertising campaigns and contrasts in Western society’s sense of tribal corporate identity. The Engines of Truth is a reaction to the pornographic nature of journalism and media representation, especially in terms of privileging scandal over more socially responsible stories.
