Elisa Arca Jarque is a PhD student in Communication and Culture at York University (Toronto, Canada). She holds a Master’s degree in Contemporary and New Media Art from Paris 8 University (France). She has worked as project coordinator for ePPA Space/ Platform for Audiovisual preservation and as a researcher in video and media art in Latin America at Alta Tecnología Andina (ATA, Peru). She coordinated the publication of The future was now: 21 years of video and electronic art in Peru, book in which she also contributed as an author.
