    Josefin Lindebrink is an acoustician, artist and researcher active in the intersection of art and science. With a background in music and physics her work critically explores encounters between emerging technologies and the human body. Her work has been presented at Marabouparken Konsthall, Stockholm; FILE Festival São Paulo; ISEA2017, Manizales; Fridman Gallery, New York; MMHL Artifact, Leuven; CMRC’s 35th Anniversary, Athens; Uferstudios, Berlin; Fylkingen, Stockholm; Acentech, Boston; and Laboratorio Sensorial in Guadalajara.

    Her talks on topics such as acoustics, sound and auralization has been hosted by institutions such as the IEEE Signal Processing Chapter, the University of Auckland; Berklee College of Music, Boston; Escuela Superior de Arquitectura, Guadalajara; Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts, Stockholm; Universidad de las Artes, Guayaquil; HackerspaceSG, Singapore and EMS (Elektronmusikstudion) in Stockholm.She educates architects, acousticians, audiologists, urban planners, performance artists and musicians in architectural acoustics, sound art, psychoacoustics and hearing-based perception. She received a master’s degree in applied physics at Chalmers University, Gothenburg 2011.

    She is the current chairperson and director of Fylkingen new music and intermedia art in Stockholm, Sweden.
