  Maria Klonaris and Katerina Thomadakiare media artists and theorists. They produce films, videos, multi-media installations, performances, analog and digital photographs, and have published numerous articles and books. Since the late 70’s, they introduce the concept of “cinéma corporel” (cinema of the body). As curators, they conceive and direct, since 19g0, the large scale international conference Rencontres Internationales Art cinéma / vidéo / ordinateur organized by A.S.T.A.R.T.I., created in 1985.

  Maria Klonaris is a multimedia artist of Greek origin based in Paris since 1975, she has produced installations, experimental films, videos, sound works, computer graphics and photography in collaboration with Katerina Thomadaki. They are the co-directors of Rencontres Internationales Art Cinema/Video/Ordinateur, based in Paris.
