    Marion Roche was born in 1990 in the south of France. She is a multidisciplinary artist and researcher in philosophy, working and living between Lyon, Berlin, and Tuscany. After a master of philosophy she gathered various experiences in the art, cultural and social fields in Berlin. From 2010 to 2013 she was involved as a metal sculptor and the president of the association ArtProTacheles, in charge of the Tacheles sculpture parc (Mitte), after the closing of the place she built and founded the Kunstwerkstatt Marzahn (in Marzahn, Berlin), where she also organised socio-cultural projects. She was part of the experimental music scene of Berlin, taking part in different projects, as guitarist and percussionist.

    Since 2017 she is also following a PhD in Philosophy and Art under the direction of the Pr. Mauro Carbone (from the Jean Moulin University Lyon 3) and in co-direction with the research unit Contemporary Art and Historical Temporalities directed by the artist Bernhard Rüdiger (from the national superior school of fine arts of Lyon, ENSBA). Her research and art practice are now focused on new technologies in their relationship with the body and with time, that she explores through interactive audiovisual and VR installations.

    In the last past years she also gathered various experiences as curator and art director in France, Germany and Italy.
