Paula Perissinotto is an artist spe­cial­iz­ing in elec­tronic lan­guage. She has a Mas­ters of Vi­sual Po­etry by ECA, School of Com­mu­ni­ca­tion and Arts at Uni­ver­sity of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and a Mas­ters of Cu­ra­to­r­ial and Cul­tural Prac­tices in Art and New Media at MECAD/ESDI in Barcelona.  In 2000 she co-founded the FILE Elec­tronic Lan­guage In­ter­na­tional, a non-gov­ern­men­tal and non­profit cul­tural or­ga­ni­za­tion that pro­motes and en­cour­ages aes­thetic, cul­tural, and sci­en­tific stud­ies re­lated to dig­i­tal cul­ture.  For the last 12 years, she has di­rected FILE Fes­ti­val, an in­ter­na­tional cul­tural plat­form to boost pro­duc­tion and bring vis­i­bil­ity to the cul­tural de­vel­op­ment of art and tech­nol­ogy in Brazil. In 2010 Perissinotto launched the Mul­ti­me­dia pro­duc­tion course at the Eu­ro­pean De­sign In­sti­tute in Sao Paulo.
