    Richard Kriesche is an Austrian artist and art & media theorist.

    • 1991 appointed professor at the hochschule fur gestaltung,  offenbach am main (germany): “theory and practice of electronic media”.
    • 1995-1996 professor at the ecole superieure des beaux arts” for electronic arts, paris, France since 1999 nomination as independent expert of the European commission for “development in the cultural sphere” resp. “culture, audiovisual policy and sport”.
    • since 1999 member of the program committee: “kulturhauptstadt graz2003” (austria).

    Professor Richard Kriesche was born in Vienna, Austria. He teaches at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach, Germany in media theory and media practice, runs a cultural art-media-platform Kulturdata Graz, Austria. Organises media-art-projects on regional and global scale.
