Overview:

EINA expands its facilities with the opening of EINA Bosc, a new 1,500 m2 building very close to the Can Sentmenat gardens. This new space allows the centre’s educational programme to be expanded from a perspective of permanent innovation and creative dynamics.

EINA Bosc houses workshops and versatile creative spaces open to non-disciplinary experimentation, digital and traditional graphic arts, sets for audiovisual practices and spaces to carry out exhibition and performance programmes, and has all the spatial, human and logistical support necessary to develop the school’s offer at all levels of training.

It is an adaptable and ductile building, a platform on which to develop activities rather than an ordinary school or workshop space. The construction of the building is open to experimentation, with students and teachers participating in projects ranging from furniture design to graphic design applied to the space.

The new building will develop green spaces in continuity with the natural park of Collserola, in which it is physically inscribed, as well as natural dynamics both inside and outside.

EINA Bosc makes visible the new pedagogical approach of a school, with more than 50 years of history, which is committed to an innovative dialogue between design and art, with sustainability, experimentation and digital transformation as strategic axes.
