Edmond Couchot is Professor and Director of research and projects at the Universite Paris 8 where he directs the Arts and Technology of Imagery (ATI) program. He is interested in particular in the relation between image-related arts and computer technology. He was originally a visual artist and, as early as 1965, had created interactive systems asking for the viewer’s participation. Computer resources in real time have allowed him to continue and develop this research.
